AGO climbed ~2.8% week-on-week to ₦1,180 per litre, raising costs for haulage, manufacturing and off-grid power.

By Opaindex Markets Desk · · Nigeria · 2 min read

Diesel (AGO) prices rose to an average of ₦1,180 per litre this week, up roughly 2.8%, tightening margins across logistics, manufacturing and off-grid power generation.

Because diesel underpins haulage, the move ripples into the cost of goods from cement to food staples.

Petrol holds

Petrol (PMS) was broadly stable at ₦905 per litre. Opaindex tracks both daily across depots and retail stations.
